01 / Design, in practice

A tour page with
a clear next step.

Help guests picture the experience, find the practical details and choose their next step. Explore the Howth concept to see our approach in action.

The Howth concept

A clear view.
A simpler choice.

An independent tour-page concept bringing the coastal experience, essential information and Bókun booking together.

Try it: explore the tour details, then open Check live availability once the calendar is ready.

02 / The detail that makes a difference

Ready when
your traveller is.

When a guest is ready to book, the next step should be easy to find. We focus on fast pages, clear information and a booking flow that works comfortably on a phone.

The research

A 0.1-second improvement across mobile loading metrics was linked to conversion increases of:

8.4%
for retail sites
Travel research 10.1%
for travel sites

Loading performance is part of the booking experience. We consider it alongside clear tour information and a practical next step.Explore direct booking

A Google-commissioned study of 37 brands using 2019 data. Improvements covered four speed metrics throughout the journey. These are study findings, not SearchVero client results or a forecast.

How fast is your tour page?

Enter your website or tour-page URL to open Google’s mobile speed test. Share the report when we discuss your website and booking journey.

Results come from Google PageSpeed Insights (mobile test). The address you enter is sent to Google so it can load and test the page.

03 / Why a direct channel

More room for your story.
A place to book direct.

Keep the marketplace channels that work for you. Give brand searches, referrals and returning guests a clear home for your tours and a direct way to book.

  • Your brand, fully expressed. Show the people, places and details that make your tours worth choosing.
  • A home for returning interest. Give repeat guests and recommendations one clear destination on your own domain.
  • More control over booking costs. Direct sales avoid marketplace commission; booking and payment fees still apply.

What could direct bookings change?

04 / More than a good first impression

Designed to inspire.
Built for the next step.

The website, the words, the search foundations and the Bókun setup. Planned together around your tours.

01Design & copy

Give guests a reason to choose.

We design around what makes your tours worth taking, then write clear, persuasive website copy. From the first image to the practical details, guests can picture the experience and understand the essentials.

  • Visual direction
  • Website copywriting
  • Tour storytelling
02Build & SEO

Make every page work harder.

Responsive development, carefully sized images and on-page SEO give each page a clear foundation. We plan headings, titles, descriptions and internal links around your services and the searches that fit them.

  • Responsive pages
  • On-page SEO
  • Performance care
03Bókun setup

Bókun, ready for your tours.

We integrate Bókun with your website and create or configure tour products using your approved details, prices and booking rules. Your availability and checkout stay connected to the setup your business runs on.

  • Product creation
  • Booking integration
  • Tour setup

05 / From first conversation to launch

A clear path.
A considered result.

You know your tours. We bring the design, copy, development and Bókun expertise to present them clearly and make the next step easy.

Start with a conversation
  1. 01

    Understand the business.

We discuss your tours, current website, booking setup and goals. Your proposal defines the pages, content, Bókun work, price and any hosting or support before the project begins.

  2. 02

    Build the experience.

We design the pages, write the agreed copy, prepare the on-page SEO and connect the booking flow. Any agreed Bókun product setup is built around your approved tour information.

  3. 03

    Refine and launch.

We review the content, mobile layouts and booking journey with you in a private preview, then launch the approved website. Future updates and ongoing support follow the arrangement agreed for your project.

06 / Before we begin

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Have something else in mind?
Do I need to change my booking software?

If you use Bókun, we can build around your existing setup. Dates, rates and checkout stay within Bókun. We also work with other booking systems, including FareHarbor and Rezdy, and confirm the integration requirements before agreeing the scope.

Bókun has a website builder. Why work with SearchVero?

A website builder gives you the tools. We bring the design, tour copywriting, on-page SEO and booking setup together around your business. We can review a native Bókun website or plan a separate website connected to Bókun, depending on your goals.

Can you create and set up my Bókun products?

Yes. We can create or configure Bókun tour products as part of your project. You provide and approve the tour details, prices, availability and booking rules; we agree the product count and setup work in the proposal.

Are copywriting and on-page SEO part of the service?

Yes. We write website and tour copy and plan the page structure, headings, titles, descriptions and internal links around your services. The proposal defines which pages and tours are included. Search rankings and AI recommendations cannot be guaranteed.

How does the Bókun availability flow work?

Guests open Bókun’s booking calendar from your tour page. In the Howth concept, the calendar begins loading while visitors browse, and the booking button becomes available once it is ready. Dates, rates and checkout follow your Bókun configuration.

Can I keep selling through Viator and other marketplaces?

Yes. Your website adds a direct channel alongside the marketplaces you use. It gives brand searches, recommendations and returning guests a place to find your tours and book with you.

Is the Howth example a client website?

Howth is an independent concept demonstrating SearchVero’s design and booking approach, not a client case study. In the embedded homepage preview, visitors can explore the page and open the calendar; reservation and payment actions are disabled there. The tour ratings shown relate to the tour experience.

How do pricing, hosting and future updates work?

We prepare a proposal around your pages, tours, content, booking setup and language requirements. It sets out the agreed scope and price before work begins. Hosting, maintenance, future updates and any ongoing costs are agreed for each project.

Can you work with operators internationally and in other languages?

Yes. We work with tour and activity operators internationally. Tell us where you operate and which languages your guests need. We agree the language versions, translation process, language review and booking requirements as part of your project.

Start with a conversation

Tell us about
your tours.

Share your website or Viator listing, tell us how you use Bókun and what you want to improve. We’ll discuss the right scope for your tours, then prepare a proposal if the project is a fit.
